Heart Breaking Case

Hi everyone – we just wanted to say that we know this is heartbreaking case, particularly as the bodies mount up, each one a life lost that should never have been so.

We mourn each one of those lives.

However, it’s a difficult case to solve, with random killings happening across a massive area, every one of which needs to be documented, investigated, checked, double-checked and then bodies examined to see whether or not the killings match, something which takes time.

Alongside the two cases reported, we have also been involved in the investigation of two others this week – one which was ruled out as not human-related and one which was unconfirmed as sadly the person who reported it was not able/ did not keep the body part safe. For every potentially linked case you see on here, in the background in a week, we’ve all been looking at a number of others too.

We retain absolute faith in the police team investigating – they have been busy all weekend, including on their days off and we know this because we have been busy ourselves, in contact with them.

So please don’t think for a moment that the police are not interested or not involved, they absolutely are and will continue to be.

We realised in November, when there was so much evidence that this had been ongoing for some time, and across a wider area than was first thought, that it would take time and it has and it will.

We are here until it’s solved. We’re not giving up and we’re not going away.

The single best thing you can still do is to share our pinned post (which we’ve just updated), so that people in other areas become aware it’s not just Croydon in which this is happening and in knowing, can keep their cats safe.

Thank you to every single one of you who reguarly shares that post, even though it’s not a pleasant thing to do.

Thank you also to our amazing leafleteers who go way above and beyond the call of duty, leafleting, talking to people, putting up posters, talking to shop owners, etc etc. We are so very grateful to each of you.

Thank you also to the lovely people who have sent us poosand (as we refer to it), noms (ditto) and items from our Amazon wish list. Tha cats and us are grateful! Our wishlist can be found here if anyone want to do the same https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/registry/wishlist/…

Finally thank you also to the people who have sent us donations via paypal so we can cover the mortgage and bills for our rehoming centre whilst the investigation goes on and needs one of us to stay on it full time. If anyone wants to do the same our paypal is tjenko64@aol.com.

Thanks again every one of you – we couldn’t do this without you all xx
